2024 Farm Technology Days Location Unwrapped

For Immediate Release CADOTT, WI (December 15, 2022) –– This holiday season the Wisconsin Farm Technology Days (WFTD), Inc. continues planning for their 2024 three-day event in Chippewa County. The committee is proud to announce that it has chosen a date and location. Scheduled for August 13-15, 2024, at the Country/Rock Fest grounds in Cadott, Wisconsin (WI). $1.6 Million Grant For Crescent Meats

U.S. Department of Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack and White House domestic policy advisor Susan Rice were in Chippewa County to award grant funds to Chippewa Economic Development Corporation (CEDC) investor Crescent Meats. Along with other CEDC investors CBS Squared and the Roc Group the team helped the company apply for the Meat and Poultry Processing Expansion Program (MPPEP)-a Biden Administration program plan to spend hundreds of millions of dollars across the country to increase competition, boost farmer and rancher income and lower grocery costs for families. Wisconsin Farmers Union Selects Greenfire for Historic Renovation Project

The Wisconsin Farmers Union is renovating a 45,000 square foot historic building that will include their state headquarters on the second floor - and have selected Greenfire Management Services to bring the project to life. The three-story building located in downtown Chippewa Falls will feature retail on the first floor, rentable office space on the second floor and apartments on the third floor.
