Business Expansion and Retention (BEAR) Visits are done to ensure that the CEDC is doing everything they can for the Chippewa Valley’s existing businesses. During these BEAR Visits, a business can give company updates and/or a tour, CEDC can update the company on the latest Economic Development initiatives in the area, and the business can give the CEDC valuable feedback for future strategic planning.

BEAR Visits are typically done three to four times a year, per investing business.
