CCEDC Riverfront Job Fair Was Teeming with Opportunities

In today’s economic environment, uncertainty is all around us—businesses not fully opened because they cannot find workers, job seekers worried about daycare, transportation, and pandemic safety concerns, as well as the conclusion of pandemic unemployment benefits—and in July, the Chippewa County Economic Development Corporation [CCEDC] and Workforce Resource implemented the second of three job fairs to mitigate some of that uncertainty. Mason Companies, Inc. Announces Plans for New Facility in Chippewa Falls

[7-9-21 - CHIPPEWA FALLS, WI] Mason Companies announced plans to build a new 425,000 square-foot fulfillment center on the Lake Wissota Business Park [LWBP] in Chippewa Falls starting late this summer. Ashley Furniture Opens Location in Chippewa Falls

[CHIPPEWA FALLS, WI - 7/8/21] On Thursday, July 8, 2021, Ashley Furniture held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the opening of their newest manufacturing facility in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. Window of Opportunity: AJ Manufacturing Grows and Expands

Founded in Bloomer, Wisconsin in 1960, A.J. Manufacturing continues to innovate and manufacture insulated door products.  While the company had always produced high-quality insulated doors and windows, a drive for discovering new markets and innovations has positioned the company for further growth and additional production lines such as high-quality HVAC and post-frame products. Recently, the company has broken ground to expand and modernize their North manufacturing facility, located in the Ironhorse Industrial Park in Bloomer, WI.
