Mason Companies, Inc. Announces Plans for New Facility in Chippewa Falls

[7-9-21 - CHIPPEWA FALLS, WI] Mason Companies announced plans to build a new 425,000 square-foot fulfillment center on the Lake Wissota Business Park [LWBP] in Chippewa Falls starting late this summer. This new fulfillment center is the result of outstanding cooperation and coordination of efforts by Mason, the City of Chippewa Falls, Chippewa County and the Chippewa County Economic Development Corporation [CCEDC]. Ashley Furniture Opens Location in Chippewa Falls

[CHIPPEWA FALLS, WI - 7/8/21] On Thursday, July 8, 2021, Ashley Furniture held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the opening of their newest manufacturing facility in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. CCEDC and Workforce Resource Host Another Job Fair

(Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin 6/21/21)- A regional free outdoor job fair will be held, weather permitting, between 1:30 and 4:30 pm on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at the Riverfront Park, located at 12 S Bridge St in Downtown Chippewa Falls. The Riverfront Job Fair has over 25 top regional employers that currently have open positions in need of fulfillment. The CCEDC and Workforce Resource organized this event for the purposes of connecting job seekers who are returning to work with hiring companies. CCEDC Supports Talent Attraction Funding

Last week, the Chippewa County Economic Development Corporation, along with several other Wisconsin Economic Development Organizations, requested that members of the Wisconsin State Joint Finance Committee allocate funding for a Wisconsin talent recruitment program. Members of the CCEDC Workforce Talent Committee also supported an action that would fund a marketing campaign to raise awareness of the advantages of living and working in Wisconsin. A state marketing campaign that reinforces CCEDC's marketing message -- that Western Wisconsin is a great place to raise a family and a business -- helps position our existing industries to obtain the next generation of talent. Founded in Bloomer, Wisconsin in 1960, A.J.
