(Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin 6/21/21)- A regional free outdoor job fair will be held, weather permitting, between 1:30 and 4:30 pm on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at the Riverfront Park, located at 12 S Bridge St in Downtown Chippewa Falls. The Riverfront Job Fair has over 25 top regional employers that currently have open positions in need of fulfillment. The CCEDC and Workforce Resource organized this event for the purposes of connecting job seekers who are returning to work with hiring companies.

As the Chippewa Valley economy continues to rebound from the pandemic and the vaccination rate continues to increase, many local businesses in all industrial sectors are looking for new employees. At the Riverfront Park, over two dozen companies will be set up, still practicing safety precautions, to welcome on-site interviews for a variety of positions.

“Right now, there are still hundreds of current job openings in the Chippewa Valley, and helping those local companies find the right talent in a safe manner is critical to the health of our economy,” stated Dan Kitchen of Workforce Resource. Cassandra Hathaway of Workforce Resource Business Services encourages job seekers to “prepare for this opportunity by freshening up resumes and practicing their interviewing skills. If you are looking for a job and need assistance on updating a resume or tightening up interview skills, the Workforce Resource is here to help.”

“Many of CCEDC’s business partners are looking forward to returning to full employment operations, and this is an excellent opportunity for them to meet and interview with high-quality talent. It’s important to keep the economy moving in the right direction, and many people are feeling comfortable with returning to the job search market. This job fair is an excellent opportunity for prospective workers to ease their way back into the job market,” expressed CCEDC’s CEO Charlie Walker.
