Apply now for an International Market Access Grant

Applications for these exporting grants are now available! WEDC is excited to announce they have a new round of funding for the International Market Access Grant (IMAG), which provides grants of up to $25,000 to help  area companies expand internationally. Like all grants, funding is limited therefore, early applications are key. The earlier your apply, the more time you have to work on your project and it gives WEDC time to assist you. Applications are reviewed as they are received.

Companies usually use grant funds to cover export growth expenses including:

  • Trade show attendance
  • Marketing and promotion
  • Export education
  • Consulting services

To apply, a company must be in operation in Wisconsin for at least one year and must manufacture, process, assemble or distribute a product or service with the potential to be exported. Grants are available to companies that are new to exporting as well as those with some export experience. Wisconsin cost inputs must make up at least 35% of the value of the product or service being exported, and companies must agree to a 30% match of the grant funds received. Companies that have completed the ExporTech™ Program can apply for up to $25,000 in IMAG funding; companies that have not completed ExporTech can apply for up to $10,000.

Please note that our application deadline has changed. All applications must be submitted through the Network Wisconsin portal by October 31, 2023 to be considered.
