WEDC Secretary and CEO Missy Hughes Along with CEDC President CEO Charlie Walker visits a Chippewa Falls business KYMA Battery Technologies for a retention and expansion update while also celebrating Healthcare Workforce Training Institute grand opening. The Dove Healthcare Community Foundation received a Capacity Building grant from the WEDC. CEDC 29th Annual Meeting

The 29th Annual Meeting was held at the recently completed Eau Claire Event District - the new home of Country Jam. The Crescent is one of the state of the art venues within the Eau Claire Event District that provided all of the amenities one would need for their next event. From technical support to a full service caterer, they have it all! CEDC opted for a breakfast meeting in hopes for the highest turnout with the least impact to people's schedules. Farm Technology Days 2024 – Planning and Volunteer Opportunites!

Wisconsin Farm Technology Days 2024 will be hosted in Chippewa County next year at the Close Farm in Cadott, WI (Across from Country Fest). It will take place August 13th-15th, 2024. The Farm Technology Days Committee has been meeting for the past year and a half. Now that we are the next show, extensive planning is in full swing. From frequent site visits, to individual committee meetings, we hope to have the best turnout yet in Chippewa County! We currently are looking for volunteers during the event and on the planning committee. There are many positions available with varying responsibilities.
