See below to confirm your participation. High School students will have more options for competitive careers than any time in recent history. Board of Directors Meet at New Hoeft Building

On September 19th, 2019 Chippewa County Economic Development Corporation (CCEDC) held its monthly Board of Director's (BOD) meeting at the new Hoeft Builders location in Altoona, WI. The board discussed topics that included planning for HATCH 2019, Business at the Gardens, Manufacturing Month, CareerTek and the strategic planning efforts that this year's BOD's will be gearing towards. Historic Steam Locomotive Arrives in Chippewa Valley

Altoona, WI (US) July 23, 2019 – Since 1847, rail has had a significant impact on Wisconsin’s mobility and economic prosperity. There is no doubt that freight, intercity passenger, and commuter rail all benefit our local economy. Railroads have played a critical role in the development of the Chippewa Valley because important sectors of our local economy depend on freight rail to deliver low-value, high-volume, heavy commodities. They link raw materials and finished products to markets throughout North America and overseas.
