Learn how biomedical innovation and major partnership in Chippewa Valley will help to transform care.

Panelists are Nick Amundsen, vice president of product strategy for Jamf; Dr. Timothy Nelson, director of research and innovation at Mayo Clinic Health System in northwest Wisconsin; and Chancellor Jim Schmidt of UW-Eau Claire.

The collaboration between Mayo and UW-Eau Claire is only the second of its kind in the nation, opening the door for research projects involving faculty, students and one of the world’s leading health systems,” said Tom Still, president of the Wisconsin Technology Council. “Over time, it will improve health care for people in the Chippewa Valley and far beyond.”

Jamf, the global software firm rooted in Eau Claire, will be a part of the partnership, as well, through projects such as creating a home monitoring application on mobile devices for congenital heart disease.

This luncheon is in partnership with Momentum West and the Wisconsin Healthcare Business Forum.

The Tech Council is the independent, non-profit science and technology adviser to the governor and Legislature, with events, publications and outreach that build Wisconsin’s tech-based economy.
