The Holidays are here and the CEDC celebrated with investors, stakeholders, and other supporters of economic development with music, food, drinks, and fellowship. Over 100 VIPs attended our annual Christmas celebration at the beautiful Heyde Center in Chippewa Falls. This is one of our special connecting events that we put on. Typically, the primary purpose of our connecting events is to provide an opportunity for our attendees to build their professional network, meet other industry leaders, and develop community relationships. The Deck the Halls event not only provides all of the above, but also allows us to give thanks and show our appreciation to all of you for supporting our efforts in helping our Chippewa Valley economy grow.
The CEDC Board of Directors were in attendance to personally thank investors for their financial contributions this past year and to further encourage their participation in CEDC activities in 2024. The Chippewa Falls Senior High School String Quartet set the mood with Christmas classics as our guests mingled, ate, and were MERRY! KP Katering outdid themselves with a delicious Hors-d’œuvre buffet that was a great hit.
Overall, this event continues to be a favorite – kicking off the holiday season. Closing out another successful year such as 2023 with an event like this motivates and encourages the team to tackle the challenges of 2024. Special thank you to our Investors CBS Squared, Greenfire, BMO, Alliance Plastics, Frandsen Bank, Chilson Motors, and Badgerland Printing for their help with the event. The Chippewa Economic Development Corporation looks forward to working with everyone in 2024 as we implement some unique economic development strategies. More to come in 2024!
