At the Chippewa Economic Development Corporation (CEDC), we believe that lasting progress begins with strong connections—and that includes uplifting the nonprofits and charitable organizations that serve as the backbone of our communities.

This year’s CEDC Charity Golf Classic was a shining example of how giving back can be both impactful and enjoyable. Held under sunny skies, the event brought together businesses, civic leaders, and community champions for a day of golf, generosity, and shared purpose.

We were honored to name the Jayna Kelley Memorial Foundation as the 2025 beneficiary. In just five years, this remarkable organization has donated more than $386,800 to 15 different causes—each one creating a ripple of hope and support across the Chippewa Valley. From youth programs to healthcare initiatives, the foundation’s mission of community-driven giving continues to inspire and uplift.

Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our sponsors, donors, and participants, the event raised over $13,000 to support the foundation’s ongoing work. These funds will help them continue honoring Jayna’s memory by spreading kindness, connection, and meaningful change throughout our region.

The CEDC Charity Golf Classic is about more than just fundraising. It’s about building bridges—between industries, nonprofits, and individuals. It’s about shining a light on unsung heroes and strengthening the social capital that holds our communities together. When we empower local organizations with resources and recognition, we amplify their ability to make a lasting difference.

At CEDC, we know that nonprofits are not just support systems—they are catalysts for social and economic resilience. Their efforts extend far beyond individual lives, contributing to a stronger, more connected Chippewa County for all.

To everyone who sponsored, donated, golfed, volunteered, or helped spread the word—thank you. Your support helped make this year’s Charity Golf Classic a success, and we are deeply grateful for your partnership and community spirit.

Let’s carry this momentum forward. Let’s keep showing up, investing in one another, and building something meaningful—together.

Because when we invest in our community, we all win.

Together, we’re building a brighter Chippewa County—one partnership at a time.
