Wangard Partners believes in building valued partnerships by bringing together key stakeholders in the community to ensure their project’s success. Also\, Dante Tomassoni\, COO of Development at P&R Companies of Duluth\, MN\, will be discussing what the company looks for in a community when building their projects. Since 2010\, P&R Companies prides themselves on designing and constructing their buildings to the highest industry and construction standards\, making them as energy efficient as possible and reducing the carbon footprints of their properties. \nAttendees\, along with gathering insightful information from real estate developers\, will get to hear from the Chippewa County Housing Authority\, the Chippewa Valley Homebuilder’s Association\, the Chippewa Economic Development Corporation\, and local telecom companies on their role in the County’s development. DESCRIPTION:The Altoona School District would like to invite you to attend our 2022 Career Fair event on Wednesday\, April 27th\, 2022 from 12:30-5:00 PM at the Altoona High School. See below to confirm your participation. \nHigh School students will have more options for competitive careers than any time in recent history. That is why it is critical that we work together to help increase student awareness of all of the tremendous employment opportunities in our region. \nOur community and our area is in need of workers. We look to the business community to support students looking to earn money\, get job experience\, gain employment skills and learn more about what careers they may want to pursue. We have the opportunity to partner with our community to match employers with potential employees. As part of our district’s Academic and Career Planning process\, we offer internships\, apprenticeships and job shadowing experiences to help students discover how their strengths and passions can support finding a fulfilling career. \nDuring our 2022 event\, all Freshman students at Altoona High School will work to prepare a resume\, learn about interview etiquette and practice an interview with a real local employer. Students will get an opportunity to get feedback from the employer on their application materials. See the video linked below for more information on the Mock Interview component of this year’s event.
