Nordson EDI Ground Breaking

At a ceremony on November 1, 2018, Nordson Corporation celebrated the groundbreaking for a new world headquarters for its EDI® and Premier™ extrusion and coating product line. The investment will ensure continued growth for an enterprise that has been a leader in the local manufacturing economy since its founding in 1971. The 145,000 sq.ft. facility will be located in the Lake Wissota Business Park and will integrate operations currently located at three separate sites in Chippewa Falls: the current EDI headquarters and extrusion die manufacturing facility on Kurth Road; a plant for Premier dies and aftermarket service on Olson Drive; and a technology center for research and development (R&D) and laboratory trials on Lowater Road. Drylock Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

CCEDC assisted Drylock with their ribbon cutting ceremony that brought together a hundred and fifty community leaders, and employees of Drylock Technologies (a dynamic family-owned Belgian-based group) to celebrate Drylock’s expansion of its Eau Claire, Wisconsin office building and advanced adult incontinence production facility. In 2017, the Belgium company expanded its operations into the United States with the acquisition of Presto Absorbant Products.
